How can I benefit from Counselling?

Understand your triggers-

Emotional Regulation

One of the core areas individuals come for counselling supports is emotional regulation. We all can experience intense emotions that can be difficult to manage. Our counsellor works with you to develop personalised strategies for understanding and regulating these emotions, helping to reduce stress and improve overall emotional well-being.

We use techniques that are proven to be effective in helping individuals recognise emotional triggers, develop coping mechanisms, to support them to have emotional balance.

Communication-

improved relationships

Clear communication is the key to improved relationships. This sounds simple, yet can be hard to follow through. Together we look at ways to  enhance social communication skills and fostering meaningful connections.

Boost your self-confidence and improve your social skills. Learn to read social cues, express your feelings clearly, and know when to ask for clarification. Strengthening these skills can help you build deeper, more positive relationships with the people who matter most to you.

Mental health supports- Psychosocial recovery coaching

Our professional counsellor is here to support anyone who is struggling with their emotions, changes in life, grief and loss, trauma, stress, emotional regulation and more. She is a registered Clinical counsellor with PACFA with over 20 years experience.

She utilises various therapies to provide support that suits the individual.

She also provides psychosocial recovery coaching to those with mental health issues, providing practical skills to help overcome obstacles and enabling you to work towards your goals

Please contact us to discuss your needs to see how our services suit your needs.

Developing structure for Daily life- Routines

We also recognise the importance of building routines and structure that support independent living. Our approach is to work collaboratively with you, helping to set realistic goals that promote independent living and improved mental health, while respecting and accommodating individual needs.

We understand that everyone has unique needs and goals. We work with you to help you do more of what you love in a way and achieve your goals.
